At The Vintage Bath Company we only use traditional methods and original antique baths. When we re-enamel a bath, not only do we use vitreous enamel the same way the Victorians & Edwardians did (well almost, we have managed to enhance the process with more environmentally-friendly modern equipment)

Our vitreous enamelling, like with all traditional craftsmanship will last a lifetime and that's why we offer a 25 year warranty on all our baths.
The restoration process is something that takes years to master and that is why, with over 20 years experience restoring reclaimed baths for customers with a genuine appreciation for antique & Victorian baths, we are the leading restorers of cast iron baths in the UK.

Get the perfect bath for you
Like all humans, baths come in different shapes and sizes. We can source the right bath for your home in the style & size you desire, simply tell us your requirements and we will do the leg work. This is very popular with our interior design clients. We also hold a large stock of reclaimed baths ready to go.
Bath Polishing
A specialist procedure done in situ
If you have a bath that is just stained, dull or rough but the enamel is otherwise in good condition, we can polish your bath back to a beautiful condition in situ. This can be done in a few hours and the results speak for themselves.
We do not re-surface baths as this is simply spray painting them and, being paint, it cracks and peels, sometimes within a few months!
As we don't add anything there is nothing to come off. We simply take a wafer -thin layer off, removing any stains and roughness, resulting in a smooth shiny bath, so no more sore bottoms !
Aga Re-Enamelling
We can have your tired Aga fully restored
We can bring new life to the oldest cast iron range cookers of any make or size. Whether you have a two or four-door range cooker that has cooked your family’s meals for decades, we can bring it back to its former glory using our partners in-house treatment facility.
The outer fascia of each one is carefully removed and the old enamel is removed through shot blasting. New enamel is applied at an extremely high temperature using hand spray methods. When the enamel is fused it produces the beautiful shiny and durable surface that makes a range cooker so attractive.
The vitreous enamel applied to the fascia comes in 22 standard colours including black, claret, blue, cream, British racing green and pewter, as well as the more specialised shades of mustard yellow, red, royal blue, dark pewter, Wedgwood blue, powder blue and white. In addition to these, we can colour-match most colours you request.
